Acknowledgement - Charlie McDonnell, Woodview Crescent, Trillick, Co Tyrone.
Died 11th January 2024.

The family of the late Charlie McDonnell, would like to express our deep appreciation and heartfelt thanks to all those who sympathised, prayed for, and supported us through the recent passing of Charlie, our much loved brother, uncle and friend.

We would like to acknowledge all those who paid their respects in any way, thank you to those who left messages via social media, sent flowers or who joined us at the Mass.

Thank you to all of our relatives, friends and neighbours who helped in so many ways.

A special word of thanks to Father Patrick MacKenna, PP for his spiritual support and the comforting requiem Mass. We convey our appreciation also to the Sacristan and everyone who took part in the Liturgy, especially the readers, and our musicians James McShane & Jean McCrystal who provided the beautiful music.

Thank you to McAtee Funeral Directors for the dignified and professional manner in which the funeral arrangements were carried out, and to the grave digger Anton for preparing Charlie’s final resting place.

And finally we send our grateful thanks to the Care Plus Community carers who looked after Charlie so well prior to his admission to hospital and to the doctors, nurses and carers of Ward 6 South West Acute Hospital for their care and compassion for Charlie during his time there in recent months.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a gesture of our family’s deepest gratitude.

Charlie’s Month Mind Mass will be celebrated in St Macartan’s Church, Trillick on Sunday 11th February 2024 at 11.00am. Our Lady pray for him.
