It was with heavy hearts that we said goodbye to our beloved Ciara on 28th June.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported us in the days following Ciara’s sudden passing and throughout the weeks since. Your kindness, compassion and generosity have brought us great comfort during the most difficult time of our lives.

Our sincere thanks to Ciara’s Uncle John and his wife Karen (Bresnahan) for their unwavering kindness, love and support to Ciara, both before and immediately after she passed away. We are also deeply grateful to Ciara’s friends in London, Mena and Alex, whose incredible support meant so much to us.

A special word of thanks to Martin Donnelly (Repatriation), whose immediate offer of help and guidance ensured Ciara was brought home from London without delay. Having her home with us so quickly brought immense comfort. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Claude McKervey, who looked after all the funeral arrangements with his usual professionalism, dignity and respect.

Ciara’s Funeral Mass brought us immense comfort. We are deeply grateful to Father McManus for his heartfelt words throughout the service, and to Donna Taggart and Damien for the beautiful music and meaningful lyrics that made the ceremony so special. Our thanks also to Bronagh McFarland for the graveside prayers, to Ciara’s friend Cathaoir McElhome for the touching final song, and to her cousin Antoin Teague for preparing Ciara’s final resting place.

We would also like to thank Christine, Hope, Leah and Bronagh for all their help and support during the week following Ciara’s passing. Our sincere thanks to Kate, Rosemary, Claire, Marie, Nicola and the staff of Cobblers for providing the refreshments and to Mary Howe for the beautiful floral arrangements.

Thank you to everyone who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, messages of condolence, and kind words on social media. Every gesture of support, no matter how small, was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten.

Finally, words cannot express our gratitude to the Bresnahan family and their children, the McCrossan family, the Carron family, and especially Daniel and Luan, whose love, strength and support helped carry us through this unimaginably sad time.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as a sincere expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Ciara’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph’s Church on Monday 27th July at 7.30pm. All are welcome.

Donal, Aisling & Ava Mae
