The family of the late Colm Holmes, who passed away on 25th April 2025 after a brief illness, wish to express our sincere thanks to everyone who sympathised with us during a very difficult time.
Thanks to those who called to the wake, contacted the family, sent cards, flowers, messages of condolences, attended the funeral and to those who travelled to visit Colm at home and attend the funeral. Your support was greatly appreciated.
We are indebted to Father Joe Gormley, of Holy Family parish, who regularly attended Colm during his illness and celebrated a beautiful Requiem Mass. Thanks also to Isobel and Sinead for providing the music for the Mass.
We want to thank the Foyle Hospice, Marie Curie, Dr. Eamon Doohan and the many health professionals who supported and cared for Colm at home during his illness.
To those who provided food and refreshments at the wake and to McDaid's Bakery, we greatly appreciate your support and generosity.
We want to sincerely thank the staff of W.J O'Brien for their professional and dignified handling of Colm's funeral and for the support and assistance they provided to us.
Colm's Month's Mind Mass will be celebrated in Holy Family Church, Ballymagroarty on 24th May at 6pm.
