The death has occurred of:
Colm LOUGHRAN
The family of the late Colm Loughran would like to thank all those who sympathised with them during their sad loss. To all our wonderful family, friends and kind neighbours whose help and support was invaluable over the wake and funeral and indeed throughout daddy's life.
To all those who attended the wake and funeral, brought mass cards, messaged or posted online their condolences we assure you these were greatly appreciated. We thank also the many individuals and businesses who brought gifts of food to the wake and to those who brought floral tributes. We must also commend the ladies who made and served the tea to visitors throughout the busy wake days.
We thank especially the Doctors and nursing team of the Trauma unit in CAH who cared for Daddy with such compassion and indeed to his own GP and staff of Willowbank surgery.
We can not express deeply enough our appreciation to the priests of the parish and in particular Fr Sean ONeill who celebrated a very personal and fitting funeral mass and for his pastoral care of us and to Fr Greg Carvil who concelebrated the mass. Indeed we also acknowledge the many visiting priests who called to the wake for your prayerful presence. We thank also Jenny McKee and Dermot McCusker for the beautiful music which enhanced the mass and to Michael Lynch for his instrumental pieces on the saxophone during the mass. It was simply beautiful. We thank Paul and the sacristan team for preparing the church for our funeral mass.
Finally to Bridget and team from Mone Funeral Directors for the complete and exemplary handling of all the funeral arrangements and to the ladies who provided the post burial refreshments and the Parish for the use of the hall.
At the risk of failing to mention someone we trust this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a sincere token of our appreciation and gratitude.
Colm's month mind mass will be held in St Patrick's Church Keady at the vigil mass tomorrow Saturday 9th December at 6:30pm
