The Family of the late Colm McCluskey would like to express our deep appreciation to all our family, friends and neighbours who sympathised and comforted us during our recent bereavement.
We want to thank everyone who called at our home, sent Mass and sympathy cards, letters of support, telephoned and texted, sent floral tributes, and attended the funeral. It was especially comforting to see so many of Colm’s friends join with us.
A special word of thanks to Fr David Moore for the comforting way he celebrated Colm’s requiem Mass, Michael for his assistance at Mass and Andrea, Patrick and Donna for the beautiful singing and music which was such a special part of our celebration.
Thanks to Paudge Quinn for the professional and dignified manner in which he carried out the funeral arrangements and to the grave diggers for their preparation also. We would like to thank Quinn’s Corner for the refreshments after the funeral.
So many people provided food and refreshments to our home and we thank them so much. A particular word of thanks to Colm’s colleagues and the Management at Newell Stores who were very supportive to us and we appreciate their guard of honour at Colm’s funeral.
It was very comforting to us to see our neighbours, friends and members of St Patricks GAA Football Club join in the journey with us to the Church, direct traffic and provide a guard of honour. Thanks also to the management of the Bardic Theatre for the use of the theatre after the funeral.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a gesture of our deep appreciation.
Colm’s Month’s Memory Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 2nd July at 3pm in St Patrick’s Church, Donaghmore.
