Columba (Colm) DOHERTY
I, Kathleen, Michaela, Moira, Dermot, Gemma and Columba wish to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who supported and sympathised with us during our recent bereavement. To all who attended the wake, sent mass and sympathy cards, sent floral tributes and charitable donations, provided food, and attended Requiem Mass, we are truly grateful.
A special thank you to our amazing cousins for everything they did for us over the wake. Couldn’t have managed without them. Also, to Marcus and Fidelma Doherty for providing safe transport for everyone attending the wake.
Thank you to the medical staff of Eglinton Health Centre, along with the district nursing team for their care and comfort they gave Columba.
Thank you to Fr Noel McDermott for a beautiful Requiem Mass and Claire Bradley for her beautiful singing. Thank you also to Fr Michael Canny for his spiritual comfort in his final days.
Finally thank you to Kieran O’Brien of W J O’Brien & Son Funeral Directors, Eglinton who carried out all aspects of the funeral with compassion and dignity and to Shauna Cassidy for providing refreshments following the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank each person individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere gratitude, your contribution made our loss more bearable.
Columba’s Month Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 6th November in St Mary’s Church, Tamnaherin at 10.00 am.
