Words cannot express what I'm trying to say,
I'm heartbroken God gave you your wings, and you had to fly away.
I will always treasure the lovely memories, and will talk of you fondly everyday.
I wish we had gotten more time or say goodbye, but I know you couldn't stay.
I wished I'd have seen one more beautiful smile, or been able to chat with you again just for a while.
I wish you didn't have to go,
A wonderful Grandmother, A wonderful Stepmum, but I hope you always knew how much we loved you so xx

Then place them in my granny's arms and tell her they're from me.
Tell her that we love her, and miss her, and when she turns to smile,

To some you were just a person to us you were our world,
You loved us very dearly and that can't be compared,
They say there is a reason,

You played a role you didn't have to,
For that we idolised you.
