I was so very sorry to hear that Eamonn has died.I seen Facebook notice. Shocked,as just a few months ago was speaking with him on phone. His hope was to get some musicians from home out to play in his pub in Vietnam. I thought it was a lovely idea, and would have went had it came to fruition!
Have many happy memories of the Crosskeys and Eamonn, when I started going there in the mid 80s. His hospitality was exceptional. I was always very fond of him. I know he had kept in touch by Social media with many old friends and was glad that I was included to be one!
Sorry to think will never get the chance to see him again in Vietnam or elsewhere.
Sincere condolences to his family.
