Mummy, when you were a little girl many years ago,
you had your loved ones, you had your dream, you watched me come and go.
You watched me make the same mistake, that you had made before,

Gone to be with our Daddy.
If roses grow in Heaven Lord pick a bunch from me,
place them in my mother's arms and tell her they are from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and hold her for a while.
Because remembering her is easy I do it every day,
but there is a ache within my heart, that will never go away.
