Latest Sympathy Notices

I only learned of Ray's sad death when I spoke to his former flatmate John Quinn on the telephone this week. I was a year ahead of Ray at Strathclyde University and when I had to repeat third year I had to get to know a different group of classmates. Ray was so wonderfully approachable, friendly and without pretence. We saw many football matches together and attended cinema and parties with John Quinn and others I saw him on many occasions after university until he left for Ireland.

Sharon - I shared a flat in Saltoun St, Glasgow with Ray and others in the 1970's.Very sorry to see what has happened. Ray had a very social life in Glasgow before he went to Belfast, to Queens, and those of us who knew him well are gradually being advised of his death.
I have posted you a mass card and sent people info re sending sympathy notices by e mail.
Ray did not keep in regular contact with everybody he was friendly with in Glasgow over the years he was in Ireland but he made a huge impression on many people while he was here. Sunday 17 February 2019 John Quinn, Strathaven, Lanarkshire
