It is with great sadness that I learnt of Billy's passing. All of you have a very special place in my heart. I will never forget how you opened up your home to me and my passion for horses. I grew to love not just the horses but I cherished the warmth and love of your entire family. Every cycle ride after school to Adelboden, every bus trip to Tara is embedded in my memory, you provided me with some of the happiest memories of my lifetime starting from the day that I nervously "interviewed" with Billy in the showroom on the Newtownards Road, just up the road from The Abbey and across the road from Billy's mother.
I will always remember Billy's kindness and am grateful that our pathways sometimes have continued to cross. I cannot be there in body on Friday but I promise I will be there in spirit.
Please accept my heartfelt love in this time of loss and my overwhelming gratitude that Billy was such an important influence in my life.
