Latest Sympathy Notices

Deepest sympathy from brother-in-law Walter and family. Psalm 46 v. 1.
Friday 18 October 2019

Dear Elizabeth,

Antoinette and I would like to convey our deepest sympathy to you and to your family on the passing of your husband Brian. He was a man for whom I had the deepest respect and regard. He asked me to replace him as president of the Irish Association which touched me deeply and you will remember giving me dinner as I sought to learn from his experience about how to lead the Association.
He was dedicated to the public good and he did not hesitate to advance that good no matter how controversial his proposals might be.
I often talked to him so that I could learn about the concerns of people whose traditions are different from mine so that my government could try to help people of all traditions on this island.

I have lost a friend, nothing as important as your loss, but important nonetheless.

May you and your family in time overcome the loss of this great man.
