Very saddened to hear of Dan's passing. He was a good man, a devoted husband and father, and a friend to all, without prejudice.
I pray that God may console and strengthen you, his dear family and friends, in these sad days.
Unfortunately I cannot attend the services, but look forward to meeting you at the nearest opportunity.

I would like to pass on my heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Dan.
I first encountered Dan as an alter boy when I was a priest in Enniskillen in the 80's and he was a delightful boy then always pleasant and obliging. He later became a social work colleague and friend and my admiration for him increased over the years. He will be sorely missed.
Unfortunately I can't attend his funeral due to work commitments but I can assure you that you will be in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
