We, the family of the late Helena McElhennon RIP wish to express our sincere thanks to all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. Our heartfelt and sincere thanks to the many family, friends, neighbours and extended family circle for their kindness, help and support in calling at our home, To those who brought mass cards, sympathy cards, offered money contributions, floral tributes and gifts of food, phone calls, emails, from near and far.
To the Desertmartin and Draperstown communities and surrounding areas that supported us in so many ways, your support over the weeks and at the wake was over whelming, thank you so very much.
A very special thanks to all the many different professionals that assisted and guided us through this journey. We will always be forever indebted to you.
A special thank you to Fr Dermot McGirr CC who celebrated the fitting Requiem mass and to the Fr Peter Madden PP, Fr John Downey and Fr Seamus O’Neill for their prays and masses said. Also, to the sacristan, altar servers, readers, gift bearers, Eucharist Ministers and those that prepared the grave.
Also, to the guards of honour that greeted us on that day.
Thank you to Edward Gribbin of Signature Music, the Gribbin Girls for the beautiful singing and music at the funeral mass and to Shea McCullagh for playing the bagpipes.
Thank you to Michael, Lawrence and Noreen O’Kane of O’Kane Funeral Directors Draperstown for the professional, dignified and caring manner in which they carried out the funeral arrangements.

A special thank you to Apparo Restaurant for providing the beautiful food, to the local GAA club and their helpers for hosting and setting up the hall, the helpers from local businesses and friends of the family that helped on the day.
As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our heartfelt gratitude to all.

Helena's months mind mass will be celebrated on 17th February 2020 at 7.30 pm, at St Patrick's Kennaught, Desertmartin with everyone welcome to Longfield GAA hall afterwards for light refreshments.
