God saw the road was getting rough, the hills were hard to climb,
He gently closed your weary eyes and whispered, Peace be Thine.
We sat beside your bedside, Our hearts were crushed and sore,
we did our duty to the end till we could do no more.
A Golden heart stopped beating, two willing hands are still,
