I am very sorry to hear of Hilary's passing.
I was lucky enough to have her as a lecturer at the University of Ulster, and I was a member of the "Mushroom Group", an experimental music group which she herself formed and led with amazing energy and enthusiasm, and I have only happy and fond memories of her.
My sympathy to her family and friends.

Eddie Friel, Innsbruck, Austria.
I studied with Hilary in the late 80s. She had the energy, enthusiasm, knowledge, encouragement and support in abundance as any educator should have and so was a big influence on my life and as a music teacher. I am only sorry that I lost touch having moved from Northern Ireland.
Time slips past but memories last.
