Latest Sympathy Notices

The family of Philomena Duddy, her husband Malachy, sons late Brendan, Malachy and Sean. Daughters Sharon, Clare and all her grandchildren offer heartfelt thanks and appreciation to everyone who sympathised with us in these strange and uncertain times. Our sincere gratitude to all who called to the house sent cards, flowers, phoned and messaged us.
We would like to recognize the care that was given to Philomena by her doctors, nurses and ambulance team who were by her side when we couldn't be especially Danielle Devine and Martina Divin and to all the staff on ward 43.
Our heartfelt thanks to Father Aidan Mullan for the spiritual guidance through those dark days and for enabling us to have a somewhat normal wake and funeral in abnormal times. Also Father Sean O'DONNELL for the lovely blessings in her final hours. To Emer MC Cafferty for the beautiful music, it didn't go unnoticed that she played on after we left the chapel for those watching at home. who couldn't attend the funeral.

Philomena will be sorely missed by her entire family circle. There will be a mass to celebrate her life and mark her one month anniversary on Tuesday 2nd june at 7:30. Live stream from Longtower chapel.
