I am so sorry for your loss. I knew your dad from his days at COD. He was a larger than life and really likeable character. I played with him many times over many years and always enjoyed the craic and banter. It is a number of years since I have played but he is one of many who form happy memories of lovely evenings such as this with poor golf but great company.
He was a straight talker, a man who served his community and wore his heart on his sleeve. All admirable qualities and I like many will mourn his passing.
He will have nothing to fear from the journey ahead
