Peter my cousin and a true gentleman, sincere and lovely at every occasion we met over the years. I wish we could have been there to see you to your final resting place tomorrow. Our hearts are broken that your life was cut short so tragically, you deserved so much more from life. Your dad Peader will be waiting to welcome you home. We will be there in spirit thinking and praying for you and your mum Kathleen, Patrcia, Kevin, Aiden and Tamara, Mark and Liam to help you all through this very sad time.

I am sincerely sorry for the loss of Pete. I had worked with him at BOC for a number of years and knew him to be a most kind and gracious man. In work he was always on hand to help wherever he could. He saved our bacon many a time! Outside of work, we would often get the bus at the same time when he was on his way home. It was lovely to get to know him. I found him to be deeply intelligent and interesting. He talked of his family over in Ireland, his time at university, his love of science and nature, his working abroad, and quite a bit about his love of the The Big Bang Theory programme! I hadn't seen him in almost a year as I had gone on maternity leave. It saddens me greatly that I'll never see him again. I only hope your family is coping during this sad time.
