Latest Sympathy Notices

Jonathan was the warmest and gentlest person I have ever known. We were medical students together and shared many happy times in those younger days. He was always an oasis of calm, no matter what was going on, an affable friend whose company was relaxing and reassuring. With his personality, he was just made to be a GP, and his patients were very lucky to have him. He adored his family and grandchildren and always spoke of them. We will all miss him. Our sympathy to Colleen, Patrick, Claire, Michael, Amy, Jonathan and all the grandchildren from Keith, Roisin, Emma & Eoin. Friday 24 July 2020 Keith, Roisin and family

Wednesday 22 July 2020 A patient

Dr Jonathan Stirling was not only a superb GP but was also a superb human being, who taught me so much. He literally saved my life and was a friend I have always looked up to. I am not religious and Jonathan was a deeply sincere Christian, one of the few GENUINE Christian's I have known. He treated everyone the same, with love and respect. He was hilarious and unorthodox and I loved his company. He helped me deal with many things over the years and I can easily say that I loved him as an amazing person and someone I am very proud to call a real friend. With deepest sympathy to his lovely wife, children and family. I am going to miss you so much Jonathan, RIP. Wednesday 22 July 2020 Stephen Smyth, son of Iris and Harry Van Overbeke, next door!
