Dessie will always be remembered in my heart as the loving Uncle we met on summer holidays on the farm and later on his visits to Durham Road when he was in the UK working. A man with smiling eyes and a great sense of humour. Save his Soul and present him to God the Most High. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Desmond was a kind loving person who made my childhood happier because he was my big brother. I am very proud and glad to have those memories of him, they never fade.
