Condolences to the O'Keefe family on the great loss of a scholar, friend, man of great integrity and wisdom. His vision allowed for the setting-up of the journalism programmes at Ulster University almost two decades ago. He was always hugely supportive and encouraging of them and the staff teaching them. His legacy lives on as the courses recently won two top awards in the UK and have trained a new generation of journalists many leading the field on both sides of the border.
