McQUADE JOHN DAVID Passed away 14th November 2020 peacefully at home.
Much loved brother of Ann and brother-in-law John Smith.
Last night as I lay sleeping an angel came to me,
I opened my eyes and stared at him wondering who he could be.
I looked a little closer and I saw a familiar face,
he was my brother John saying he found his perfect place.
He told me he was happy and asked me not to cry
he said his pain was over so I said my last goodbye.

God called your name so softly that only you could hear
and no-one heard the footsteps of the angels drawing near,
it broke our hearts to lose you but you did not go alone
for part of us went with you the day God called you home.

Devoted father of Lynsey and son-in-law Jim and much loved grandfather of Corey-Jade and Carter.
If we were to write a story it would be the greatest told,
of a kind and loving man who had a heart of gold.
If we were to write a million pages we would still be unable to say,
just how much we love you and will miss you everyday.
We will remember all you taught us, we are hurt but won’t be sad
because you will send us down the answers and you will always be our Dad and Granda.
