Latest Sympathy Notices

When we recently called to see you Christy, you were sitting in your favourite armchair, near the window surrounded by your family. whilst you might not have known us then, you still had that contented, happy smile that you always had. Over the last days we recounted your funny sayings & great laughs. Your house was an open house, just like Kathleen’s where we stopped for a quick chat and end up staying much longer (that kettle took ages to boil) we will all miss your presence, your quick wit but like your bros., & sisters you have left us with precious memories that will always bring a smile & conversation. You will remain in our hearts forever - Rest in peace & sincere sympathies to your family, from “George’s ones” Thursday 07 January 2021 Benny, Sean,Edel, Regina, Levinus, Jacinta, Sinead, Mum & extended family

In loving memory of Uncle Christy....R.I.P.
My earliest remembrances go back to a Christmas vacation a long long time ago.
That particular afternoon spent having fun with our captive uncle in the house in which he had grown up in.
Christy was allowing my sister Bernadette and I to “ interrogate” him in a chair, armed with pots and pans in Granny Gillen’s scullery.
A kind and patient man who seemed to always enjoy laughter and family.
Much love and sincere sympathies to Christy’s sons and daughters and immediate family circle.
Respectfully,
Kevin Gillen
