Colm, a much loved member of the NAHT & member of the Executive Committee will be deeply missed. Colm had been elected to be National President but was not able to take up the seat due to his illness. He would have been an extraordinary and inspirational president.

This is a very sad time for all that had been touched by Colm's warmth, generosity and humour. He was quite simply a lovely man.

So sad to hear of Colm’s passing. I had the pleasure and privilege of working alongside Colm as a fellow special school principal. He was my mentor and always put his vulnerable pupils first. A pillar of SEN in N Ireland.
