Brendan was one of my dearest friends from my teenage years.
We sailed up the Grand Canal to the Shannon, to Kinsale, and to the west coast of Scotland with only a compass!
He was very intelligent, witty, and a good singer, and was always great company. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to his entire family.
