Memories of a wise and compassionate boss. His dry Ulster wit served to defuse many a tense situation. He never suffered fools gladly and ensured his will prevailed through skilful negotiation and discussion. I have only positive and happy memories of my time working with him both in Fife and later in civvy street. A sad loss; and my thoughts are with Patricia and the family at this time.
