Auntie Nan was both liked and loved by everyone. My sister Daphne and I with her sister Betty enjoyed many happy times at the many singalongs we had at their late mother's home on a Sunday afternoon.
“Amazing Grace was a particular family favourite with Nan's sons the late Ian and David accompanying on guitar or occasionally the bag pipes.
Nan, Betty and I with her grandniece Charlotte spent 2weeks in Perth Western Australia when her nephew Geoff got married and it confirmed to me what a wonderful person she was.
Nan adored her family, her 2 sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her partner John and the Lindsay family brought her much happiness.
A very special lady. Ever in our thoughts.
