Dear Andrew, Ruth, Jonathan and David: My heart breaks at his passing and I know your loss is greater as I have only known him such a short while.
Ronnie was such a lovely person to be around. I loved his sense of humor and his stories of his work on the railroad. Even the last Christmas we were all together, he demonstrated such grace and strength to this totally unknown "foreigner" who spoke funny.
His presence will definitely be missed, yet I see pieces of him when I am around you, mostly Andrew and Ruth. Thank you for allowing me to get to know him on my short visits there.
