Dear Bertie you may be gone and gone too soon but you will never be forgotten. I find solace in the memories I have of you when I was growing up. Especially the nights when you were getting ready to go out. Playing your music in the kitchen having pre-drinks, the days before cement was your hair product of choice. I now have a new image of you sitting in a cafè with a strong coffee, legs crossed holding the longest conversation now you have been released from your constraints.
Susie, Dayna, Duane, Lowell and Lori take care of each other. There’s a long road ahead but together you are stronger.
