I was greatly saddened to hear of Billy's passing. Billy & Hilda were the most kind, gracious and generous hosts to me, my sister Eleanor, my cousin Tammy and friend Rhonda when we attended the 73rd Anniversary of the end of The Battle of the Atlantic ceremonies in May of 2018.
Their generosity continued after the ceremonies by being our tour guide, visiting many exciting places. We thoroughly enjoyed their humour, great stories, food and drink...a very sad time indeed.
