I'm very sorry to hear of Jim's death. He was a valued member of the Board of Governors at Straid Primary School while I was Principal and indeed before and after my time. He was always encouraging and positive and above all interested in every aspect of the school.
Jim was always prepared to go the extra mile to support the school and over the years took on the role of Deputy Chairman.
He became a good friend whom I respected and could depend on for support and advice.
Jim will be sorely missed. My condolences to Isabel and the family.
