John was more like a big brother rather than a cousin of my late husband Brian.
I will sorely miss him and his humour reminiscing about the good and also the bad adventures he had whilst at sea, his constant chats of putting the world to rights, and his love of animals.
John was a true gentleman and a wonderful friend.
