Uncle Ron was always a bit of enigma to me. I first met my Uncle Ronnie in person at age 5-6 along with my cousins Mark and Arlene, my Grandmother Naomi and her lovely partner Uncle Tommy when they visited on their Aussie adventure in 1985. I still have clear memories of the joyous time we spent together. After that, my only connection was the late night phone calls that went on into the wee hours with my Dad, Harry. The stories Dad and Ronnie told about their early life were legendary to me as a youngster. When I had finished school in my early 20s I made sure my first overseas soujourn was a pilgrimage to see my kin. The connection with family was immediate despite the years and the distance. I understood that my Uncle loved his family, including his Aussie niece and nephews, as fiercely as he rode a motorcycle the moment I saw him again. All of my deepest love and best wishes to all in remembrance of Ronnie's life. Love, Conor Perry.
