Ian is remembered with great love by his family in Canada, especially by his sister Joyce (Beggs)
McGookin, his nieces Elizabeth Price and Margaret McGookin (Fred Sonnenberg) and all his grand and great-grand nieces and nephews.
Many of us were privileged to have shared happy times with Ian, both in Canada and Ireland. We will always honour his open heart and quiet humour.
Our love and sympathy go out to Jean & Michael and to Ian's many friends.
We are all richer for having known him.
