Our dear sister Anne,
We didn't get to say goodbye,
You departed in a twinkling of an eye.
We didn't get to say farewell,
The sadness our hearts feel,
No one can tell.
So many things were left unsaid,
So many tears we will shed.
Without any warning death came calling,
And in a heartbeat you were taken from us.

Our dear aunt Anne,
Our time together was special,
So were the memories we made,
Which will never fade.
We bow our heads in silence,

But a piece of us is missing,
Since the day God called you home.
