So sorry to hear this news. Condolences to William's family, particularly Valerie and Frank. Very fond memories of the whole family growing up on Ann Street, Ballycastle. Disappointed not to make the funeral but only learned of Willie's passing recently. He is in my thoughts and prayers.
We cannot bring the old times back, when we were all together,

I worked with Willie in Fisheries Research from 1975 until my retirement in 2011 (36 years). Willie was a loyal and outstandingly conscientious colleague. His passing is a very sad loss to us all, especially his close family to whom I offer sincere condolences. May he rest in peace.
