Fraser Elliott
Alan was one of the most able and conscientious people I have ever known. He was a tremendous asset to the law practice in which he worked for so many years. He will be greatly missed not only by his family but by his colleagues and many friends.

Derek Taylor Belfast
Alan was one of the kindest and wisest men I ever met. As an apprentice solicitor he helped and advised me immeasurably; nothing was ever too much trouble, a truly affable and approachable person.
The world is a lesser place without him.
