Latest Sympathy Notices

I first met Christine when she was eighteen and she was on her way with her future husband and my uncle Alex Pollock (a veterinary surgeon) to a Route hunt ball in the Causeway hotel.
She was a quiet, pretty girl, intelligent and very hardworking. Alex and her were very compatible, got married and had three sons who had their parents ethos of hard work.
They all went to live in Hill o Down in Meath. Christine came north again to look after her elderly mother, Mrs Hodges.
I spent frequent visits with them both and their beloved dog. Christine will be a great miss to us all through her spheres of gardening and animal love and care.
May she rest in peace.

Worthy of everlasting remembrance. Christine and Alex always generous and kind. In the 1970's on frosty mornings they would stop and take our children up to the school. The snowdrops Christine planted along the Hill of Down road gladen our hearts every Springtime as we travel morning noon or night to catch the bus or driving to Dublin. Another memory of Christine was her love of wild flowers and nature and out on the bog picking wild flower seed.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
Our sincere sympathy to Brendan, David and Charlie and all her extended family. Monday 20 June 2022 Peter and Margaret Fagan and family, Riverdale, Raharney.
