Uncle Kieran was deeply loved and treasured by all of us.
One of my earliest childhood memories was being sent “up North” to Auntie Monica’s and uncle Kieran’s, to give my mother a break.
I’ll always remember him taking me out with him to the farms during lambing season, that was a real eye opener and gave me a desire to become a veterinarian like him when I grew up.
He became a hero to us all when he saved our newly rescued dog, Boko from imminent death, when he diagnosed him with distemper and brought him back to life.
He was a man of many talents, with great integrity, a kind, gentle spirit and a great sense of humor.
He will be deeply missed.
