Dear Mum, Daniel and all our family in Derry. Sending all our love from Australia at this very difficult time. Dad was the most spiritual, caring, generous man I have ever had the privilege of knowing. We are so deeply saddened by his passing but he will never ever be forgotten and all that he has achieved in life. A true gentleman and known as the running man of Derry who has inspired so many. His name will live on for many many years as there will never be another Danny Sheerin. But to us he was more than the running man of Derry. He was our hero, the person we went to for advice, the person we aspire to be like and ALWAYS there for us. We love you all so very much and wish we could be there. Forever in our hearts.
