Latest Sympathy Notices

I am so sorry to hear the sad news of George's passing, especially so soon after Dorothy's passing. My husband Mark and I send deepest sympathy to Pamela, Michael, Alison, Ian, and all the grandchildren - and their little great granddaughter.

My memories of George are inextricably linked to those of Dorothy. As a very young man when he wascourting' Dorothy and my dad was dating my mum, my dad and George used to meet up and get the late bus home together after seeing their girls safely home.
From dating, to newly-wed next-door neighbours through to their adavanced years, they were an example of true friendship, and devoted brothers and sisters in Christ.

I also remember being impressed by George's footballing and golfing prowess, but he was always a gentle, unassuming man.

So, Uncle George and Auntie Dorothy have been lifelong friends of my parents, and I'm grateful that legacy of friendship is continuing with Pamela and Michael.

Mark and I send our love and prayers, trusting that you will all be upheld with the grace and strength that only God can give. Saturday 07 January 2023 Jo and Mark Jowett, Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire.
