I’m very sad to learn that Winston has left us. I always thought I would get the chance to meet again. I remember those happier days when he and Noreen would come to Lurgan Park and call up at the house afterwards, full of enthusiasm after a good day out. Later I tracked them down (thanks to Evelyn) when they had just moved into their lovely new house. Alas they were unable to save the old house. I did regret that I told my father it was no longer there, his childhood home.
I am so sorry that due to my own Ill health I am unable to come to Winston’s funeral.
I be thinking fondly of my cousin tomorrow as I often have.. Dear Winston farewell from me on your last journey.

Tania Funston, Winston’s cousin
