My late husband, John Aiken, was an old friend of Brian’s. They had reconnected through Sam Bracken and we had met up with Brian on a visit to Belfast some years ago. John had phoned Brian when he’d become ill. Sam informed me today of Brian’s death- I’m very sorry for your loss and John would have been too.
