Magical car trips to Portaferry and encouraging our imaginations with offcuts of wood, nails and tools. Watching you repair boats in the garage and getting the opportunity to be out in the boat from Groomsport to Pickie and back. Magical “2nd” Christmases at Granny and Grandad’s house and Halloweens spent dunking for apples in the basin and finding 20 pence pieces in the apple pie. A quick wit, a mischievous smile, and lover of many many cups of tea (made in the teapot only) or a werthers or two. You are so sorely missed already granda, but these memories will last a lifetime. Sweet dreams x Monday 13 November 2023 Lauren

Our hearts are broken Daddy, but you are at peace. Eternal peace with Mummy.
Those hard working hands can take a rest and that wee broken heart can now mend.
Rest easy.
“Love you more” x Friday 10 November 2023 Angela xx

You were the best Uncle ever. We had happy times on the Viking growing up. Your naughty sense of humour and quick thinking gave us many laughs. It was lovely to have you serenade Lizzie along with your sister Maire in recent times. You will be dearly missed but as you said “ it is my time “ rest in peace with aunty Shelia after a life fully lived. Love your niece Liza x Friday 10 November 2023 Liza Kane (niece)
