The Worshipful District Master, Officers and Sir Knights of Tandragee Royal Black District Chapter No.1 tender our deepest sympathy on the sudden tragic passing of our highly esteemed member Sir Knight Sidney McIlldoon. Sidney was a long time member of Tandragee RBDC No1 and was past Worshipful District Master and a Past District Lecturer of Tandragee District No1. He leaves a tremendous legacy of selfless service to the Royal Black District Chapter No.1 and indeed all the Loyal Orders in which he was heavily involved. He will be greatly missed.
Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this most difficult of times, especially his wife Irene who remains in hospital recovering from her injuries.

The Officers and Members of Tandragee District Royal Arch Purple Chapter No.4 are deeply saddened to hear of the untimely passing of Rt. Wor. Bro. Sidney McIldoon following a road traffic collision. Sidney previously held the role of County Grand Master of Co Armagh, having passed his lecturers ticket in 1986 Sydney has for the past number of years been holding the position of Deputy Grand lecturer responsible for assessing and teaching trainee lecturers across the organisation. Sidney will be greatly missed by all who knew him and we tender our heartfelt sympathy to his wife Irene who remains ill in hospital and also to his family circle during this time and for the time to come.

The Officers and Members of Tandragee District LOL. No 4 deeply regret the sad passing of our highly esteemed member and Past District Master Rt. Wor Bro Sidney McIlldoon. Sidney belonged to Cargans Memorial LOL 122 where he held the position of Lecturer, he also held the office of County Grand Lecturer and Grand Lecturer of the Grand Orange Lodge of Ireland. He was a true gentleman, friend, a man of sound advice and was held in the utmost respect by those who knew him. His loss to his lodge, our District and County and Orangeism as a whole is massive but far greater still is his loss to his family.
We extend our deepest sympathy on to Bro Clive and the entire McIldoon family at this most difficult of times. We pray for Irene, and pray for the doctors and nurses looking after her in hospital.
