In Memory of my Brother Sean
From my earliest memories you were always by my side
Finding my way, whilst growing up, you were the one who helped to guide
You taught me how to ride a bike, you taught me how to swim
From time to time you annoyed me, so I had to break your limb
During our early years, with our parents, we were often in trouble
If one of us was being told off, it invariably was doubled
As we grew, our interests evolved along diverging routes
But you still tricked me into getting you a new skip and football boots
In our teenaged years our music interests were very often shared
You spent your hard earned, took me to my first concert, you showed me that you cared
Many more events and trips became the regular order of the day
Sandra joined the gang and our lives evolved again, in different ways
Adulthood, family and kids, you frequently stayed with us, in our abode
You expanded your mind, gained your skills, your future seeds were sewed
Our lives were changed forever in the May of 1994
The impact of that pushed us eventually to spread our wings and explore
Decades of memories created and enjoyment along the way
Nothing lasts forever, which brings us to this day
I cannot be there in person, to bid you farewell
Thank you for what we had together, I hope your final journey goes well
