I was very sad to hear of Aunty Joyce’s passing, but I know she is home now with the One she loved the most, and her many precious loved ones who left earth for heaven years ago.
My Aunty Joyce was one of the most loving, selfless people I knew. I watched her life over the years, and her passion for God and others was exemplary. She and my Uncle Robert’s lives were what impacted my own life and impressed upon me the need to make an eternal difference in a broken world. This led my husband, daughter and myself, into missionary service in Africa. And that changed my life forever.
My heart is full of gratitude but also sadness, as I last saw Aunty Joyce when my Dad, Ted Hyslop and my step-Mum, Maureen came to Northern Ireland to visit over eight years ago when I was there with my partner after my Mum, Margaret Hyslop’s funeral. What a lovely time that was, and as always Aunty Joyce was smiling and so happy to see us.
To Stephen, Sharon, and Suzanne, and their spouses, I am sure you will miss your beautiful Mum. But I know she was so very proud of each of you, and of the legacy in you she has left behind, carrying in you her best heart.
I send my love and prayers to you all, and am thankful we too will see Aunty Joyce again.
May the comfort of Christ surround you and give you his peace.

I am truly deeply saddened to have just received the news that my dear Aunt Joyce has passed away, but rejoice in knowing where her eternal rejoicing place is. Absent from this place in time, but present with The Master she so faithfully served with her dear husband and my dear Uncle Robert. My sincere love and deepest condolences go to my three cousins. I am so sorry that I never knew of Aunt Joyces passing until now as I have been in hospital with another brain hemorrhage. I send ALL MY LOVE TO MY COUSINS. Praying that you all will know the loving embrace of our Heavenly Father at this time. From your cousin Edward Hyslop and his wife Joanne.
