MCGIMPSEY Jim died peacefully in hospital on 18th June 2025. Royal Ulster Constabulary V.C. Daddy of Roy, Gillian, and the late Gordon. Beloved uncle to Michael, a grandfather and great-grandfather. I hope you saw the stars daddy and the brightest light too as you journeyed on, and you’re singing in the angels’ choir as you have that great reunion you’ve hoped and longed for. To be by your side in YOUR hour of need has been my absolute privilege from the start to very end and beyond. The pain and loss in my heart is indescribable and unbearable…I just want to hold your hand. I told you I wouldn’t leave you and you said, “ I know you won’t”. You will forever be held in the greatest esteem and close to my heart. I love you daddy. Love conquers ALL. Be still as I rest a while in your beloved memory. Gillian and the above family circle.
