I was so sorry to hear of Edith’s passing. She was a truly lovely person—quiet, modest, and always ready with a warm welcome and a cup of tea. Her gentle manner and kind heart touched everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
I especially appreciated Edith as a dear friend to my mother, particularly in her later years. The many quiet acts of kindness she offered—often without fanfare—brought great comfort and joy. Their friendship was a blessing, and I know how much my mother valued it.
I hope you find peace in knowing how deeply she was appreciated and how fondly she will be remembered by all of us who knew her.
